Vacuum environment. Under vacuum, water boils at a much lower temperature. Moisture evaporates from deep within the board rapidly and gently — typically at just 50–70 °C instead of the 80–100 °C used in conventional kilns.

Vertical pressing system. No stickers (spacers) are required. HF drying allows for direct, compact stacking of lumber.
